Post any clips or videos of your triumphs.

I have on occasion recorded replays of notable games, sometimes damage records sometimes just cos it was fun. anyway here are a few links to them.

How to Kill a Musashi in 2 half Montana salvoes.

Yamato 200k Sleeping Giant

Missouri 5 Kills Neighbours

Musashi 347k 5 Kills

Mutsu 5 kills on Haven

Graf Spee on Trident 5 kills

Prinz Eitel Freidrich Ranked Sprint Carry

one of the few games I have ever carried in Ranked or Randoms for that matter.

And a random from quite a while ago

Konigsberg 111k IIRC

Nice, not a CV player myself but I know what a challenge WG have made getting a good game out of them lately!

I'm not really a CV player either (I love my Arizona and Atlanta). I convinced myself to give carriers a second chance, and I'm learning how to use them the 'new way'. The Saipan game above just helps me believe I'm doing something right.

I gave them another try when the rework came out but I don't like the way they operate. It's almost a totally different game, the old CVs were a challenge and I struggled with the patting your head, rubbing your stomach, and doing a two step all simultaneously that you needed to be able to do to be successful. The current rework to me doesn't reflect a 'ship' game so not for me I'm afraid.

Yamato game from this evening, 2 of the kills I didn't even see, secondaries knocking off low lying fruit.

Flint game last night, not a particularly high damage as I was top tiered and there was only one BB in the lineup, but extremely satisfying. I had preceded this with a 5 kill Atlanta game and followed up with a 3 kill Benson who was the solitary t8 in a t10 game.

So, I’m figuring out that sinking more than six ships in one coop battle is very rare. If I remember, I only sank six, one to maybe three times on my previous WOW account. (This is my second account. I haven’t played my first one in years.)

On this account, I’ve sunk six in the following ships. Chester, Hermelin, Friant, Turenne, and Smith.

Up until I bought the OKHOTNIK, the Smith was actually my favorite ship. For being a T2 and nearly impotent DD, it is a lot of fun to play. Especially since I have the torpedo reload time down to 9.9 seconds.

Then I bought the OKHOTNIK. Wow what a beast in coop battles! With this ship I sank seven in one battle.

It was me and only one other player in a carrier. When we were down to the last enemy bot I looked up at my stats and nearly giggled out loud. I had sunk six. I was going to get seven. It was him and I and one enemy BB across the battlefield from me.

Because of who I am and because I know how hard it is to get kills in a carrier, the entire time I’m racing across the battlefield to the last red BB I’m asking the guy if he wants the last kill. I tell him I know it’s hard to get kills in a carrier and he can have it if he wants it. I would have backed off and let him have it if he would have just said something.

He keeps sending his planes to attack it, but he never answered me one way or the other, so I sank it for seven.

Apparently, this is rare so I thought I would share. I don’t have the after-battle report showing it, just the summary for the OKHOTNIK showing seven sunk. And for some reason I can't seem to get the screen shot of that summary loaded onto here. I will post it below when I can get it to work.

Here is the screen shot of seven sunk in my OKHOTNIK. The only way I could get it here was as a PDF attachment. If anyone can help me figure out how to get a screen shot here I'll post that instead.

Use an online picture host, i use gyazo but imgur will work too. Get the direct URL link, can be got at both of these sites by right clicking the picture and select copy image address from the pop up menu. Return here, click reply, paste your link and then highlight it and click the picture icon (first icon second row) in the menu above the smileys. Type in any accompanying text and then click Post/Preview, if you previewed it and everything looks good then click post.

I love the Okhotnik! Just sank seven for a second time tonight! What a beast! I took pictures of all the scores on my phone. I'll try to get them loaded here.
