Nice! 7 has always eluded me, usually by the closing screen coming down before they're all dead.

Pretty good Musashi game,  took a massive bite out the red Musashi and one shotted two cruisers, the large numbers (apart from damage) are due to me stacking all the credit signals.

My best game in my Wickes. My favorite low tier DD

Nice little MAASS game, needed this one as my previous game in my Fletcher had ended in a very frustrating defeat, despite me ending up with 2 kills and 120k dmg. Being the sole DD I was focussed very quickly and managed to take out two of their heavy hitters before I die. I later find out that the Atlanta and Georgia drivers had no silver ships above t4, and the CV had virtually no experience. Now the CV is understandable, you have to start somewhere but not at t8!! The other two gah! Guys if you have high tier premiums make sure you are at that tier before you try to play them, don't try and jump tiers it is painful for you and your teammates.

I had a battle this morning that while the actual numbers are nothing to brag about, it was the trash talking and who ended up with the top score that was highly satisfying.

I was in my Ishizuchi in a T4 battle. Big Race map. I started on the upper right side of the southern end of the map. I had a player in a Charleston cruiser beside me. As we moved forward, I aimed to go between the first and second island and swing left between them so I could fire on nearly any opposing ship coming at us. I would then be broadside to the oncoming bot fleet.

I made my left turn and had nearly cleared the islands when a bot DD nearly land in my lap. This forced me to turn south and head back into our base area to avoid being torpedoed. I destroyed that DD and was able to turn back westward, to the south of all the islands. Because of the battle conditions I just continued to travel west firing on any ship I could target.

I ended up in the western pocket of islands wildly turning as I battled it out with the remaining ships.

The Charleston player ended up having to face a BB (The bot Ishizuchi) and CR alone on the eastern side. About three quarters of the way through the battle he started making smart comments. The first one was:

“Is our premium BB still running away?” (I had the only premium BB)

Then near the end. “Solo killed the Ishizuchi, take that BB!”

While he could have meant that toward the bot, I’m pretty sure he meant that toward me since I “ran away” leaving him to face the bot Ishizuchi alone.
I never said a word to him or anyone in chat, I was too busy fighting. I rammed the last bot (BB) in our base for the win.

When the score came up, I laughed. I had top score, by a wide margin, with four bots killed. So much for his claim that I was running away.

I had another battle very similar to this about a month ago, in my Fuso. One player trash talking me horribly, making all sorts of wild claims that I was hiding and running away and camping. All the while he was hiding behind an island while making these claims. When the battle was over, I was top dog by a long shot with five kills and he was near the bottom with no kills. I nearly snorted because I laughed so hard.

It’s this type of battle that is particularly satisfying to me. They get to eat their words when the battle score totals come up. I just wish I could see their faces when the numbers hit them.

It is usually the trash talkers that wind up dead in the first few minutes. I had one the other day who had a go at me for launching my fighter, useless thing in COOP anyway, too early. He reckoned it could spot ships while he was in smoke, which tbh it can for about 0.5 seconds, however he was going into C and I was at A, numb nuts. Anyway I ended up #1 and he ended up last. I checked his stats and in COOP he averages less than 300 in all classes, his high tier ships are all premiums and they are all 3 tiers above his highest tech tree ships t8 v t5. Ignore the ignoramuses, if someone has something constructive to say they won't be insulting about it.

Anyway Fletcher game this afternoon

Couple of games, Tashkent and Atlanta. Fairly high base XP in the Tashkent game, Atlanta was notable for the high accuracy,

First really good game in Z-23, I've had problems with the German DD line after the V-25. They don't feel like agile DDs just like mini cruisers. No summary screen with this one as I forgot to screen cap it, this for those that don't want to watch the vid.

Nice Hill game, I really like this boat, her permacamo is as ugly as sin though.
