Welcome to the Co-Op Clan Forum
« on: March 20, 2019, 12:30:00 am »
Hey guys and welcome to our forum.

I created this forum to communicate with other members of our Warships clan.  In the past we had advertised our TeamSpeak channel but only a few of you have signed up, which is okay.
So I had this forum made in the hopes that it would provide better and easier communication amongst all the members.  With the forum we can discuss ideas and share strategies, create events, coordinate
play times, and get to know each other.

Now I have moderated a forum before but have never created and administered one so bare with me as learn the ropes.

Hello everyone.

I'm quite pleased at finding and being accepted into this clan. After years of online games I've come to dislike all the crap that goes with PVP style games. Unfortunately, they are the best games out there so if I want to play the cool games, I have to suffer the PVP part. The coop part of WOW is one of the reasons I like WOW so much. I'm also a history buff, especially military history. I love military hardware. I was also in the United States Navy 1986-1990.

(If World of Tanks had a coop battle choice, I'd be on that game a lot more also. Maybe it's good they don't, I really don't have a lot of time for games and I would be tempted to play when I should be doing other things.)

So this game is right up my alley so to speak. I love the different ships. I love even some of the most ugly looking and under-dogged ships there are. Except maybe the Katori, there's just not enough love for that thing.

I'm glad to see there are others out there like me who prefer the coop part of the game/games. This is my second account on WOW. I stopped playing my first one about two years ago. I had two really discouraging things happen to me on that account and I walked away from the game.

A couple months ago now I was telling a co-worker about this game and I couldn't help myself, I got back on. It is one of my top five favorite games ever and currently my favorite game I am currently playing. (This is the only game I'm playing right now.)

Thanks for creating this clan and this separate forum for the clan. While I love playing WOW, I have grown to hate game forums in general and WOW's game forums in particular. Out of all the posts and comments I've done on WOW forums on both accounts, I had only one that didn't go sideways. On all the others I caught grief for merely voicing my opinion just like everyone else. I'm 52 years old, I don't have the time or the patients for the juvenile crap that tends to go on, on game forums. (Same goes for all social media for me.)

Thanks for inviting me, I look forward to some fun times with you fella's.

Ahoi, sailors.

I really appreciate beeing part of a clan, whose members mainly play co-op. For me co-op is more fun and kind of relaxing whereas PvP demands a lot of dedication and time. To my person: I am 45 years old, live in Austria and have allways been a big fan of naval equipment (especially submarines). Because Austria is a landlocked country (since 1918 - end of WW 1) I had only the chance to join the ground forces, which I did for almost 5 years.

PS: Thanks to Swivet, who informed the recruiters and made it possible for me to join the clan.
