Threw this together for the Hamburg Dockyard missions and directives, colour codes for ship tiers and COOP compatible missions.

I started on of my grandsons in WoWS (yes I'm that old) a couple of weeks ago. Got the first payout from the recruitment thing this morning.





Already have Mikasa so 2000 dubs deposited in my treasure chest!

Tried a few ships, Sinop, Lazo now Boise... I think I'll stick to Boise.

I've seen Lazo do very well but in the hands of Mejash, I'm not that level, but Boise is much less of a challenge and a bit more rubust.

I dipped my toe into ranked last night for a couple of games, first game was going well when my client locked up, I could hear things going on, I could see only a zoomed in view and couldn't move the view at all, everything else seemed to be working but my view was locked zoomed in and just useless. I popped Task Manager and killed the client and restarted, by the time it had restarted and logged me in the game had just finished and I found that we had won and I was unsurprisingly dead and bottom of the table. To my teammates credit my karma didn't receive a hit as I had managed to send a chat message that my client had screwed up. So I try again with my Yamato to see what happens. Best ranked game I have ever had, personal record, top of the table and you can see the results below.









A very satisfying experience, good to hold the CO-OP clan head high among the random scrubs!

Two incidents tonight that are irritating, both of them cost me in terms of XP and other things and both of them are bugs.

The first one has been around since I started playing this game and WG knows about it and hasn't fixed it. You're zoomed in and focused on your foe, you shoot and zoom out to check your surroundings, this causes your view to flip 180 degrees and all of a sudden you are looking in the opposite direction to what you were looking in. After overcoming your disorientation you grapple the view back to your foe and find that your guns are now off target as the tried to rotate to the flipped viewpoint. This caused my Musashi to get nailed hard without reply while I waited the geological age it takes for those guns to track a moving close target then when I finally get a lock I get nailed again and die. Not the first time this bug has cost me dear.

The second one is to do with the way the game finishes and when things are recorded by the game. I finished a game in my MO by dealing a citadel to the opposing MO and sinking it. This was the third of the required 3 citadels for the Personal Order I was given at the start of the battle. Up comes the summary screen, failed Personal Order, 3 citadels not obtained, then the score screen with 3 citadel ribbons. I think what's going on here is the game is finishing and tying up loose ends before all the information has been reported, so the completion of the Personal Order is reported as failed before the 3rd citadel has been reported. Anyway here's the screens just to show I'm not nuts.
